The Air Jordan 17 (XVII) Original (OG) Low - White / University Blue / Black - Chrome were released on June 1, 2002, and retailed for $150. The feature a white and blue color scheme, a well as chrome accents, which can be seen on the lacing eyelets. The low top versions of the Air Jordan 17 (XVII) feature a visible inner sleeve which helps to provide a much more supportive fit. They also feature a lightweight phylon midsole with blow molded heel Air-Sole unit and forefoot tuned air unit, TPU heel stabilizer for heel and ankle support, and a full length composite shank plate provides increased support and prevents turf toe. The Air Jordan 17 (XVII) was inspired by Michael and designed by Wilson Smith III. They came in a case with a CD and a special metal briefcase.
